Classic lash extensions are a method in which 1 lash extension is applied to every 1 natural lash. It is also known as the 1:1 technique. This type of lash extension can give the most natural results and is recommended for clients that are trying lash extensions for the first time.
A typical full set of Classic lashes can vary from having 40 extensions up to 150 extensions per eye depending on the clients desired look and of course how many natural healthy lashes they have.
The process can take up to 1 hour 30 minutes for a full set and 1 hour for an infill.
russian volume lashes
Russian Volume lash extensions require high skill and are an advanced technique in which multiple ultra fine lashes are applied to the natural lash. During the treatment the technician will hand make small fans and attach them to the base of the clients natural lash. Each natural lash is isolated with special angled tweezers whilst the fan is placed in a way that encases the natural lash and results in great retention with zero damage.
Russian volume is a very versatile lash treatment and will suit most clients. The technician can adapt the treatment to use a varied amount of lashes in each fan and therefore can create looks that are extremely full or sets that are much lighter.
The process can take up to 2 hours 30 minutes for a full set and 1 hour 30 minutes for an infill.
The hybrid lash technique is a combination of 2 different lash application techniques (classic and volume) used to create a full set of lashes. For example one natural lash may have a classic lash applied and the next natural lash may have a volume fan applied. This type of set allows the technician to be much more creative and achieve variety in their sets.
Hybrid lashes are suitable for clients who like a dark lash line and would like a set thicker than a classic set but not quite as full as a set of Russian volume extensions.
The process can take up to 2 hours 15 minutes for a full set and 1 hour 15 minuets for an infill.
